Los Angeles, CA – June 8, 2016 –THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL has received its 11th nomination for the Monte Carlo Television Festival’s International TV Audience Awards in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category, the festival and Mediamétrie/Eurodata Worldwide have announced. Winning this award for the last 10 years, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL remains the most watched series in the world, in its genre.

Series Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell, along with cast members Darin Brooks (“Wyatt”), Scott Clifton (“Liam”), John McCook (“Eric”), Rena Sofer (“Quinn”) and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (“Steffy”), will attend the festival in the Principality of Monaco, as guests of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, from June 12-16.

On Monday, June 13, the actors are set to meet fans at a free public screening of the 7000th episode at 1:00 p.m., followed by an autograph signing from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo. The Festival’s OMG Card Holders will benefit from preferred seating at the screening, will be first in line at the autograph session, and will receive a special gift.

On Thursday, June 16 at 9:30 a.m., Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell will appear on the ConTech Academy panel entitled “The Writers Room” with other series creators. Stewart Clarke, Editor of Television Business International magazine, will moderate the panel.

The series will also film exterior scenes from seven episodes and a behind-the-scenes documentary special during the festival.

The 11th Annual TV Audience Awards category will reward the programs that gathered the highest number of viewers worldwide in 2015 across five continents. The nominees were pre-selected among the 15 best performing foreign fiction programs in 62 countries. The winners will be revealed at the 56th Golden Nymph Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 16, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Thanks to the ratings data provided by Médiamétrie that led to past wins at the Golden Nymph Awards, Guinness World Records® has acknowledged that THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL is the world’s Most Popular Daytime Soap Currently on TV.

The Monte Carlo Television Festival (www.tvfestival.com) is hosted under the Honorary Presidency of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and includes press events, a jury competition and awards, premiere screenings, glamorous receptions and parties hosted by the major networks and studios. More than 200 journalists and many creative forces in the industry from around the world will be present.

At the 43rd ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY® AWARDS on May 1, 2016, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL claimed four statues, including Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team.
