Mick Cain stars as "CJ” Garrison, Jr., the son of Sally Spectra and Clarke Garrison, Sr. on The Bold and the Beautiful.
A native of the backwoods of Southern Illinois, Cain has been acting since the tender age of twelve. At 15 he began his training at the world renowned Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. Cain then stayed in Chicago to work professionally and continue his training, receiving a BA from the Barat Theatre and Dance Conservatory. After being spotted and pursued by several talent agents from Los Angeles, he migrated and set up permanent residence in Hollywood.
After moving to LA, Cain combined talent and luck to land several feature films (three of which were starring roles), numerous notable television appearances and a myriad of commercials.
Cain gained mainstream notoriety and critical acclaim with his reinvention of the role of CJ Garrison on CBS's daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful, which is also the world’s most watched daytime drama, viewed in more than 150 countries daily. Capitalizing on his international stardom, Cain has traveled the world appearing in/on many foreign publications and talk shows.
Although acting is his first love, Cain has a passion for all the arts, especially music. He is currently writing material with his new band Fugacious Blossoms for a forthcoming cd and club tour. In addition to his own ongoing musical efforts, he has produced several local L.A. bands/musicians and appeared as a guest guitarist on two albums.
Always the consummate professional, Cain continues his training at the Steppenwolf Theatre West with instructor Tom Irwin and participates in theatre productions whenever time permits.
