Jeff Conaway Bio
Film, television and stage actor Jeff Conaway makes his daytime television debut as fashion photographer Mick Savage on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
"Mick is a loner, sort of a good bad guy," said Jeff, describing his character. "He is a man who is moved by few things, but his romantic relationship with Kristen, which he has returned to Los Angeles to rekindle, makes him vulnerable."
Born in New York, Jeff made his show business debut at age 10 with his Broadway debut in All the Way Home, which starred Lillian Gish and Colleen Dewhurst and was directed by Arthur Penn. The following year, he appeared in the national tour of Critic's Choice. Over the next several years, he appeared on stage and television and made his musical debut singing and playing with a variety of rock music groups.
After spending a year at North Carolina School of the Arts, he returned to New York and enrolled in NYU's Film and Theatre Program. In his senior year, he was cast as Kenecke in the blockbuster Broadway musical Grease, a role he played for two years. After making his motion picture debut in the film version of Grease, he co-starred in the motion picture I Never Promised You A Rose Garden and was cast in the popular television series Taxi.
His other feature films include Ghost Writer, Elvira, The Patriot, Cover Girl, The Eagle Has Landed, Pete's Dragon and Jennifer on My Mind. His television series include Berrenger's and Wizards and Warriors. He has made guest appearances on many prime time television series including Murder, She Wrote, Matlock, Stingray and Hotel, among others.
Jeff co-starred in the television movies Dirty Dozen IV; Bay Coven, The Making of a Male Model, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, For the Love of It, Delta County USA and The Nashville Grab.
jeff returned to Broadway last season with a starring role in the musical The News.
An accomplished musician, Jeff is also a lyricist and a composer. He is currently single and divides his time between his homes in Palm Springs and Los Angeles.
