Jennifer Finnigan Bio
(Episode #3339-4221)
The 2002, 2003 and 2004 Daytime Emmy Award-winner for Outstanding Younger Actress, Jennifer Finnigan stars as Bridget Forrester, the beautiful pre-med student and daughter of Eric Forrester and Brooke Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful.
In the June 7, 2003 issue of TV Guide, Michael Logan called her 2003 Emmy win “richly deserving.” Describing her as “leggy, jaw-droppingly gorgeous” he went on to say that her “winning a younger-actress gold for the second year in a row, left no doubt that she is a major movie star waiting to happen.”
Jennifer was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. As a child, Jennifer did some modeling, but always knew she wanted to be an actress. Although she once thought of herself as too shy to be in the entertainment limelight, Jennifer developed the confidence and determination as she grew up that gave her courage to confront any obstacles in her path. During her high school years, she was involved in every high school and many local theater productions. All this eventually led to an invitation to be the only female member of the comedy troupe Yikes!, a group – on the verge of stardom themselves – who perform in clubs around Montreal to this day.
In one of her first television roles, Jennifer became a celebrity in Canada as a regular on the Fox series Student Bodies. In the United States, Jennifer was introduced to TV audiences in Are You Afraid of the Dark on Nickelodeon as well as La Femme Nikita and Rivals on the USA Network.
Jennifer speaks French fluently. In her free time, she can’t pass up an opportunity to indulge her passions for live theater, high fashion, nightlife, and traveling.
Jennifer lives in Hollywood with her pet Dachshund, Saucisse, and celebrates her birthday on August 22. She is 5’7” with strawberry-blonde hair and gray-green eyes.
