Brent Jasmer plays Sly the opportunistic young man who has his sights set on young heiress Jessica Forrester on the daytime drama THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
Brent, who made his soap opera debut with the role of Sly, has his roots firmly planted in the American musical theater. He has starred in such diverse musicals as West Side Story, My Fair Lady and A Chorus Line and has appeared as well in A Fiddler on the Roof, Baby and Once Upon a Mattress.
Brent was schooled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (West), graduating in 1988. He was asked to stay on with the Academy Production Company for the 1988-89 season and went on to appear in many dramatic plays including The Taming of the Shrew, Bury the Dead and Geniuses. Brent produced and starred in an original play 669 Mockingbird Lane in Hollywood and also appeared on the cover of the steamy publication Playgirl.
Brent juggled his schedule on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL so he could star in the movie Leprechaun Four.
An avid health enthusiast, Brent spends his spare time keeping in shape and playing a variety of sports. If he is not working out with weights, you can find Brent at the court playing basketball with his celebrity/charity team. If he is not out pounding a volleyball, he is home practicing his drums. In addition to being an accomplished vocalist, Brent is an excellent drummer who has been playing for years.
Born on May 16, Brent resides in Duarte, northeast of Los Angeles. He is 6' tall and weighs 180Ibs. He has black hair and green eyes.
