Lauren Koslow stars as fashion designer Margo Lynley, the chief assistant to tycoon Eric Forrester in the daytime drama THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
Lauren describes Margo as "a super career woman who always becomes involved with men who aren't involved with her. Always in love with Eric Forrester, she has had a romance with his son Ridge, carried Clarke Garrison's child and is now married to Bill Spencer!"
Born in Boston, Lauren was raised in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, the second of three children. She attended the University of Massachusetts, where she pursued her interests in Sculpture and Wildlife Management. After transferring to Virginia State University, she switched to a Theatre Arts program and majored in Costume Design. She subsequently designed a production of Waiting for Godot, which won an award at the American College Theatre Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
After graduation, she received a job as resident costume designer and actress at a summer stock theater in Virginia where she appeared in The Good Doctor and Idiot's Delight. She then decided to pursue a career as an actress and starred in productions of Cat on A Hot Tin Roof, How The Other Half Lives, Never Too Late, Ten Little Indians, Dial M For Murder and The Importance of Being Earnest at theatres in New York, Michigan, Florida and West Virginia. For the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, she starred in Tartuffe and Two Gentlemen of Verona.
Upon arriving in Los Angeles, she appeared on House Calls, Harper Valley P.7:A. and in the motion picture Hard To Hold, with Rick Springfield. Discovered in an acting class by Ed Scott, producer of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, Lauren was offered the role of Lindsay Wells, which she played for over two years. She then appeared on The New Mike Hammer, The A-Team and in Spies with George Hamilton before being offered the opportunity to create the role of Margo in THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
Lauren is married to makeup artist Nick Schillace and they have two children, a son Zachary, who appears as Baby Mark on the series and a daughter, Amelia. In her spare time, she likes to travel with her family, and pursues an interest in painting and drawing.
