Maitland Ward Bio

Maitland Ward portrays Jessica Forrester, Eric Forrester's niece from the Midwest who came to Los Angeles for a summer and found a new life on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
Ward, a relative newcomer, joined the cast at the age of 17, while still attending high school as a junior, where her curriculum centered around the craft of acting. She graduated in June 1995 and enrolled in a Los Angeles-area university.
An only child, Maitland was born in Torrance, California, and moved to San Diego at six months of age. She relocated once again two years later to Long Beach, where she resides today.
Ward has wanted to act all of her life, and appeared in many community theater and school productions, but waited until her teens to actively pursue an acting career. The audition that landed her the role on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL was only her second major audition.
Ward enjoys ice skating, watching professional hockey, and dancing. Ward is 5'10" with blue eyes and blonde hair. She has been a vegetarian since the age of 13. Maitland's birthday is February 3.
