Katie and Bill share with each other what they know about Ridge and Taylor's wedding and make opposite predictions of its outcome. When Ridge doesn't show up for their meeting, Brooke fears that he has had a change of heart. She soon learns the reason for his absence and takes off on her horse to find him before he marries Taylor. Steffy and Thomas attempt to mask their anxiety that Ridge and Taylor's wedding proceeds without a hitch and that Brooke hasn't caught onto their deceptive plan

Taking advantage of Owen being out of town, Whip plans an afternoon with Jackie to get to know her, and her situation, much better. Taylor and Stephanie share a tender moment as the day that they have both been waiting for has finally arrived. Ridge confesses his hurt to Eric that Brooke hasn't tried to contact him to attempt to talk him out of marrying Taylor. Meanwhile, Brooke waits on the beach for Ridge to arrive for their happy reunion.

A visit from a relentless Brooke makes Thomas and Steffy fear that she may ruin everything between Ridge and Taylor. To ensure this won't happen, Steffy takes matters into her own hands to keep Brooke away until Ridge and Taylor are married. Pam takes a fancy to a coworker and makes a drastic change to show him just how much. Ridge and Taylor spend a memorable day with their children and discuss their bright future together as a family. Steffy intercepts another text message from Brooke to Ridge and accidentally drops the phone in front of her parents in the process. When the Jackie M crew surprises her with a newly decorated office, Stephanie declares her new identity. Because of the kind gesture, Stephanie and Jackie agree to put aside their torrid past and become friends.

While basking in the happiness of her engagement to Ridge, Taylor asks Stephanie to be her matron-of-honor. Brooke is devastated by the out-of-character text messages that she is receiving from Ridge, and becomes even more so when Stephanie spills the beans about Taylor's engagement ring. Relieved to not have been caught by Ridge, Thomas and Steffy take other measures to ensure Brooke stays away. Whip takes any opportunity possible to shed a negative light on Owen in front of Jackie.

Nick and Bridget celebrate their one-month anniversary. Brooke desperately tries to get Ridge to change his mind about pursuing a future with Taylor and their children. Taylor recounts her past as she explains to her kids about her and Ridge's love story throughout the years. Steffy and Thomas devise a plan to keep Brooke away from Ridge. Ridge makes a final decision about his future and solidifies it with an engagement ring.

Taylor surprises Stephanie with her good news, and immediately goes into planning mode. Whip arranges for an outrageous photo shoot with Jackie as the star and Owen as her prop. Whip proposes an innovative idea to the Jackie M crew that he guarantees will garner the company a great deal of publicity. Whip is shocked by the response he receives from Brooke after he had planted a kiss on her. Taylor takes matters into her own hands to keep Ridge as her own after Steffy tells her about walking in on him and Brooke in an affectionate embrace. Whip reports back to Stephanie about his encounter with Brooke and a new plan is put into place. Steffy confronts Brooke about her intentions towards Ridge and warns her to stay away.

Brooke breaks down in Ridge's arms as she admits to him that she made a mistake by letting him go. As Ridge comforts Brooke, Steffy enters and demands to know where Ridge's feelings stand. Jackie becomes suspicious as to the true reason that Stephanie hired Whip. Meanwhile, Stephanie fills Whip in on the duties of his new position at Jackie M. Later, Whip pays a visit to Brooke to offer his assistance with her getting over Ridge.

Taylor becomes concerned by Brooke's recent and convenient visits to Ridge... and has every reason to be. A perfect opportunity presents itself to Stephanie to keep Brooke away from Ridge when a position within Jackie M becomes available. Not letting onto Jackie and Nick about her ulterior motive, Stephanie convinces them to hire a new public relations front man.

Bill's criticism of the new Forrester campaign doesn't get the reaction from Eric and Ridge that he had hoped. Brooke is devastated and feels as though he made a mistake to let go of Ridge and realizes that life is too difficult without him. Katie can't help but feel partially responsible for the latest cover of Eye on Fashion, or help but being so attracted to the man who published it. Because of the vacant positions that Thorne and Felicia left behind, Marcus and Steffy receive promotions, forcing them both to work more closely with Rick.

Ridge and Taylor have a realization that their life together is peaceful and comfortable. Donna urges Marcus to take advantage of Steffy's deal with Rick and show her how he still feels. Marcus takes Donna's advice and gives Steffy a reminder of what she's missing out on. Over dinner, Bill makes Katie an outrageous, but tempting, offer just before she hits him hard with a very personal question.

Still stunned by the incident at the end of the fashion show, Donna confronts a defensive Pam about being the one behind the prank. After receiving a warning by the banker, Eric reprimands Pam for her action. In return, Pam gives Eric an earful and quits her job. Katie goes to great lengths to convince Bill to not run the pictures of Donna in his magazine, including agreeing to have dinner with him. Eric refuses to give into the pressure given to him by his family regarding a solution to saving the company.

Eric is relying on today's big fashion show to be the one that catapults Forrester Creations back on top of the industry and out of debt. Bill attends the event in the hopes that he will, in some way, benefit from any misfortunes that may take place. Thomas has a stern warning for Rick about his future; professionally and personally. The show is a tremendous success until Donna takes the stage wearing the much-anticipated showstopper.

Brooke refuses to allow Stephanie's gloating about Ridge and Taylor's reunion to get to her, and responds with an unsettling retort. Newlyweds, Jackie and Owen, celebrate their nuptials on the beach and make a promise to each other about how their life back in Los Angeles will be. Nick has plans for Jackie and Owen once they return from their honeymoon. Forrester Creations suffers not one, but three devastating losses.

Ridge asks Taylor and their children if he can move back home with them. Rick apologizes to Brooke for being the reason why she and Ridge broke up. Stephanie breaks the news to Brooke that Ridge and Taylor have reunited. Jackie agrees to marry Owen in a traditional Hawaiian ceremony. When Bridget realizes what is going on, she confesses to Nick that Owen and Jackie are on the island and are about to get married. Nick rushes out in a fury to stop the wedding.

Ridge turns to the comfort of Taylor and their children after his painful break-up with Brooke. While grieving the loss of her relationship with Ridge, Brooke receives an unexpected "thank you" from Stephanie. During another run-in, Owen assures Bridget that he and Jackie will be gone by the end of the day. Later, Owen pleads with Jackie to marry him that night.

Brooke has an epiphany about her future with Ridge and makes the ultimate sacrifice. Steffy and Thomas get their hopes up that the current chain of events may lead to their family being reunited. Bridget is stunned when she runs into Owen on the beach and advises him to leave before Nick sees him and Jackie. Believing that Owen and Jackie are returning to the mainland that night, Bridget does her best to distract Nick, but more near-misses ensue.
