Brooke is horrified by Ridge's confession and blames Taylor for what happened. Nick and Bridget and Owen and Jackie have numerous, and comedic, near-misses with each other in Hawaii. Owen asks Jackie to marry him while they are on the island. Brooke angrily confronts Taylor and accuses her of trying to steal Ridge by over-medicating him.

Brooke apologizes to Ridge for betraying him by supporting Rick and Steffy's relationship. No longer able to keep his secret, a guilt-ridden Ridge confesses to Brooke about his night with Taylor. Stephanie urges a hopeless Taylor not to give up on pursuing a future with Ridge. Two couples set out on romantic vacations to Hawaii, unaware that they are not only but in the same hotel, but in adjacent rooms.

In the midst of the celebration of Nick and Bridget's wedding, Eric is given bad news by his children. Clarke is enlisted to keep an eye on Owen while Nick and Bridget are on their honeymoon. Nick issues Owen another warning to stay away from Jackie, unaware that Owen has a plan up his sleeve. Taylor confesses to Stephanie the painful details about her night with Ridge. Ridge's guilt about his night with Taylor gets the best of him and tempts him to confess to Brooke.

Nick and Bridget exchange their vows and are declared husband and wife. During the reception, hard feelings amongst those who are in conflict with another are momentarily set aside as everyone celebrates in the joy and love of the newlyweds. Caught bouquets and garters give possible indication of future nuptials.

Final preparations are made as guests arrive for Nick and Bridget's wedding. The nuptials are the backdrop to the drama intertwined between many of those who are in attendance: Owen ignores Nick's warning arrives with Jackie on his arm. Jackie introduces Owen as her fiancé. Ridge must face the woman he loves and the woman he made love to. Eric is caught in the middle of his two families. Bill Spencer flirts with Katie as he takes mental note of all that is going on around him.

Taylor is mysteriously vague when Stephanie asks questions about her romantic evening with Ridge. Donna is unsuccessful while trying to use her wily ways to seduce a troubled Eric. Bridget becomes disturbed by Owen's threatening comments about Nick. Jackie sets Nick straight about her future with Owen; it will happen with or without Nick's blessing. Owen later has an opportunity to stand up to Nick and make his threats in person.

Taylor and Ridge agree to keep their night a secret once they both realize the circumstances surrounding it. Despite what happened, Taylor vows that she will never give up on Ridge. As Nick and Bridget prepare to exchange vows the following day, Nick heeds a warning to Owen to not come anywhere near their wedding, or else. Bridget asks Eric and Brooke for a favor. Brooke begins to have regrets about giving Ridge space to deal with his issues.

During their romantic dinner, Ridge begins to see Taylor in a different light as she opens her heart to him. Stephanie lays it out for Brooke why Taylor is the better woman for Ridge and issues a warning to stay away from him. Hot off the heels of her feud with Brooke, Stephanie calls Taylor with some sound advice: to go for it! Rick and Steffy soon realize how difficult their new arrangement is going to be.

Pam's life-long dream is dashed when it is Donna that is the one chosen as a contestant on The Price is Right. Steffy drops a bomb on Rick by adding a stipulation to their renewed relationship. Stephanie thwarts Brooke's plan to surprise Ridge, but doesn't let on that she has a plan of her own in the works: a romantic dinner arrangement for Ridge and Taylor.

Nick tries to desperately get through to Jackie that Owen is only using her for her money and that getting married would be a huge mistake. Not being able to get through to Jackie, Nick gives her an ultimatum: him or Owen. Failing to get in to meet with the producers at The Price is Right, Pam finds another way to get into the building by attempting to become a contestant on the show.

Now that they are officially engaged, Owen asks Jackie for his job back. When Jackie and Nick trade their respective good news with each other, neither receives the reactions they were hoping for. With sales dwindling at Forrester Creations, Pam concocts a harebrained scheme to try to drum up business and inadvertently recruits Donna to assist her.

Despite the obvious signs, Stephanie tries to assure Taylor that Ridge's feelings are genuine and not chemically induced. To commemorate Owen's departure from Jackie M, Nick celebrates with champagne and a proposal of marriage to Bridget. A conversation with Clarke puts doubts in Jackie's mind about marrying Owen. Brooke remembers the love she had, and the love she lost, with Ridge while he shares a tender evening with Taylor.

Jackie is caught in the middle when Nick attempts to fire Owen. Ridge and Brooke's peace-talks are going well until a sobering phone call sheds light on the reality of their situation. Steffy is torn when she realizes that the situation between Brooke and Ridge could benefit her family. Following her run-in with Ridge, Stephanie immediately calls Taylor to pick up the pieces.

In fear of losing his job, Owen calls on Bridget for assistance. Bridget's method of helping Owen is to Nick's benefit, but otherwise unsuccessful. Owen learns some helpful information concerning Jackie. Stephanie is ecstatic when Taylor reveals that their mutual dream is about to come true. Brooke learns the details of Ridge's evening and realizes that she is unable to give him something that Taylor can. When recognizing that their situation may never change, Ridge makes a declaration to Brooke about their relationship.

Tensions flare when Thomas stumbles upon a private moment between Steffy and Rick. Brooke relays her fear to her sisters that she may have driven Ridge into the arms of Taylor. Unaware that Ridge has taken more anti-anxiety pills, Taylor senses that he is not himself. Ridge ingests more pills to numb his pain when he relives the horror of the night that Phoebe died. Now feeling at-ease, Ridge makes a shocking confession to Taylor.

When realizing the consequences of not siding with Ridge, Brooke fears the worse when she is unable to locate him. Stephanie finds pleasure in taunting Brooke about the state of her marriage. Feeling responsible for his mother's misery, Rick offers to talk to Ridge to make things right with Brooke. Unable to fathom that Brooke has so badly betrayed him, Ridge finds comfort in the arms of Taylor and her anti-anxiety pills.

Brooke's refusal to take his side sends Ridge out the door and straight to Phoebe's grave, where he finds Taylor. Seeing how emotionally distraught Ridge is, Taylor takes him to the Big Bear cabin to get away from those who have upset him. Eric confesses to Stephanie that he was wrong to fire her and asks her to return to Forrester Creations. Stephanie has a few harsh words in response to Eric's proposal.

Steffy gives Rick her stipulations of what she expects from him if she is to give him a second chance. Ridge fesses up to Brooke about their marriage not being legitimate. While thinking that he no longer has anything to worry about, Ridge's world is rocked when Rick and Steffy arrive to see him. Bill goes to Eric for his answer and shows a picture of what his future will be like if he refuses. Eric and Stephanie fight Bill by using some dirty tactics of their own.

Bill adds an amendment to his prior proposal to Donna and reminds her that time is a factor. While awaiting a response, Bill prepares to reap from Eric's downfall. Eric shares a cathartic moment with his family as he fills them in on the quandary that he is facing. Jackie and Owen commemorate their first night together as a cohabitated couple.

Bill warns Donna about the consequences she will be witness to if she doesn't agree to his proposition. When Eric refuses to be blackmailed, Donna assures him that she can take care of Bill; she only needs one night to do so. Owen offers a solution to getting Nick off of their back, but Jackie has a better idea. While "celebrating" their new arrangement, Owen and Jackie are met with an impromptu visit from Nick.

Armed with condemning information, Bill presents Eric with a deal to either sell Forrester Creations or to go to jail. Nick's concern for Jackie begins to consume him. Owen has all of the answers when Jackie questions what kind of future they can have together. Bill reiterates his proposal to Donna, but makes it even more enticing.

Stephanie realizes that she had made a bad mistake by getting involved with Bill attempts to dissolve her association with him. Stephanie won't give Bill the information about Eric that he's looking for, so he turns to Jarrett to get the answers that he wants. Stephanie reveals to Eric that she has ended her crusade against him, then confesses that Bill hasn't and possesses damning information. Jackie is forced to intervene when Nick threatens Owen. Jackie and Owen find a clever way to get back at Nick.
