Pam confesses her blunder to Stephanie. After going around and around about the troubles in their marriage, Ridge and Brooke come to an agreement about how to deal with Rick in the future.

Thomas encourages Taylor to take advantage of the turmoil in Ridge and Brooke's relationship to get Ridge back. Brooke confesses her concern about the future of her marriage to Katie. Tensions flare as Ridge tries to persuade Eric to fire Rick from Forrester Creations. The contents of Bill Spencer's will shed light on how he truly felt about the beneficiaries, as well as who will run Spencer Communications. Pam becomes extremely anxious about a crucial error she has made. Brooke and Ridge discuss the future of their marriage.

Ridge makes an emotional apology to his family. Rick jumps at the opportunity to make Brooke doubt the stability of her marriage. Brooke later puts Rick in his place about interfering in her relationship with Ridge. When Stephanie learns about Bill Spencer's death, she reaches out to console Karen, and receives an unexpected consolation herself.

During a heated moment, Brooke calls Taylor out on the true reason behind her alliance with Ridge. While moving out of the beach house, Steffy and Stephanie separately make it very clear to Rick that there is no chance for reconciliation. Later, Rick's presence causes a rift between Brooke and Ridge, which leads to someone storming out. Stephanie gives Taylor approval and encouragement regarding her plea to Ridge. Taylor and Ridge spend a memorable evening with their children.

Ridge and Taylor intervene when they hear Rick trying to plead his case by yelling at Steffy. Unwilling to listen to anything more from Rick, Steffy sends him away. She later apologizes to her parents for not listening to them and hopes that ending her relationship with Rick won't affect Ridge and Brooke's marriage. Rick runs to Brooke to give her his side of the situation before Ridge can get to her. What Brooke hears sends her off to rectify the situation.

Taylor and Ridge share a private moment as they impatiently await Steffy's response to seeing the other side of Rick. Meanwhile, Rick tries his best to get Steffy to give him another chance and understand why he said all that those terrible things about her and her father. Katie and Donna put doubts in Brooke's mind about the stability of her and Ridge's relationship. Using her own experience with Eric, Donna offers Brooke advice on how to spice up her marriage.

When Ridge finally catches up with Rick and Steffy, neither man will admit defeat. Ridge gloats that Rick's relationship with Steffy is over. Meanwhile, Rick returns the sentiment about Ridge's marriage; especially after Brooke finds out what has happened. Hoping to change Steffy's mind about Rick, Taylor shows her daughter what kind of man she is about to marry. After sharing an intimate afternoon, Owen is confused when Jackie suggests that he go to dinner with Bridget.

Steffy becomes suspicious of Rick's actions, but goes along with his plan anyway. Taylor and Ridge fear the extent that Rick will go to in order to prevent them from getting to Steffy. Bridget receives a gift from Nick, but refuses to give him what he wants in return. Jackie sets ground rules for her tryst with Owen, which he gladly accepts.

Marcus interrupts Steffy's bridal shower to tell her how he really feels about her. After word of Stephanie's new position gets out, she receives an unexpected message from an old friend. Owen invites Jackie to a private celebration. Nick tries to get Bridget to confess who her latest love interest is. Not knowing what Ridge is up to, Rick goes off on an abusive and disrespectful rant. It's not until later that Rick realizes why he didn't get a reaction from Ridge. Taylor and Ridge rush out to give Steffy life-changing information.

Jackie M debuts Madame X's new clothing line during a televised fashion show. Seeing how the new line is such a success, Jackie reveals the company's two new employees. The revelations come as a surprise to some, but not so much to others. Owen shares the celebration separately with two ladies. Remembering the promise she and Ridge made to not let anything come between them, Brooke makes a bold move. Taylor and Ridge devise a plan to break up Rick and Steffy.

Because of the on-going issue that Ridge has with Rick, Brooke's usual method of couple's therapy doesn't work quite as well as it used to. Stephanie immediately jumps back into business mode as she settles into her new position at Jackie M. During a business conference call, Jackie becomes a bit distracted by Owen's actions. Taylor is appalled by the way Rick tries to get her on his side.

Ridge surprises Taylor with a visit from Thomas and James. James shares the progress that Thomas has made with his emotional issues. Ridge and Taylor then bond over their plan to piece their family back together. Stephanie quickly proves why she is worth every penny to Jackie M. The Jackie M clan celebrates their new team and acknowledges the woman who influenced them all: Sally Spectra. Jackie lets Owen know exactly what she wants from him. Katie and Donna's words prompt Brooke to evaluate her marriage.

Brooke continues to feel ganged up on about Rick by Ridge and Taylor. Desperate to save their daughter from Rick, Ridge and Taylor vow to do whatever it takes to protect Steffy. Brooke makes it clear who she is supporting. Rick becomes offensive with his words while attempting to taunt Ridge. Stephanie celebrates her new job while having lunch with Pam; who is celebrating her freedom.

After many negotiations and agreements, Nick officially welcomes Stephanie to the Jackie M family. Stephanie and Bridget discover that they are both now working for the same company. Steffy confesses to Rick that Ridge has her doubting her relationship and whether their families will ever be at peace. Brooke realizes that she has a battle on her hands when Ridge and Taylor join forces regarding the issue of Rick.

Rick surprises Steffy, Brooke and Ridge by taking them to the site where he would like to be married. Ridge is less than thrilled by the location and the intent behind Rick's choice. Stephanie feels vindicated after her verbal release at the restaurant and decides to fulfill the prophecy of the little white lie she had previously told Eric.

To get their minds off of the Eye on Fashion article, Taylor takes Stephanie out to lunch where they run into Eric and Donna. Refusing to feel as though she was defeated by her ex-husband and his bad-mouthing wife, Stephanie decides to confront them in front of everyone in the restaurant. Owen and Katie agree to disagree about their opinions of Jackie. Nick and Jackie receive an unexpected gift from an unlikely source. Owen and Jackie celebrate this gift, and his promotion, with a kiss.

When Stephanie turns down Nick's proposal, he leaves her with some harsh realities to think about. Donna regrets her choice of words during an interview with Jarrett. Eric begins to wonder how Forrester Creations is going to cope without Stephanie. Katie tells Nick that she is willing to push back their wedding for many reasons; some unspoken. Stephanie and Taylor compare how similar their situations are and make a pact to triumph.

Stephanie has second thoughts (and is a bit surprised) after she learns that Nick was behind Taylor's generous offer. Nick and Jackie's business woes become increasingly worse. During a beach-bound business meeting, Bridget and Owen reach an agreement about their relationship after sharing a steamy kiss. Jackie continues to chip away at Katie's security in her relationship with Nick. Stephanie has a very abrupt response to Nick's proposition.

Concerned by the earlier conversation he had with Stephanie, Nick goes to Taylor for help. Taylor comes up with a solution that works well for both her and Stephanie. While celebrating at Jackie's new home, Owen receives an unexpected invitation. Nick does some research on Stephanie and is impressed by all of her accomplishments.

When Brooke learns about Rick and Steffy's engagement, she gets caught up in the excitement despite Ridge's continuing opposition to the union. Fearing that Stephanie may not be in the best state of mind, Eric asks Taylor for professional advice. Nick stumbles upon a depressed Stephanie and invites her back to The Shady Marlin II, where they share honest moments with one other.

Stephanie's children grow concerned about their mother's emotional state after her argument with Eric. After getting to know each other a bit better, Owen and Jackie have a little fun with a realtor during a viewing of a prospective new home for "them."

Ridge comforts Taylor when she breaks down over her family falling apart because of Rick. When Jackie and Nick learn just how influential the name "Forrester" is in the fashion industry, they begin to research the history of their rival company. Donna interrupts a business meeting with her sexy antics which causes an all-out war between Stephanie and Eric. The outcome of Stephanie and Eric's dispute is colossal.
