In Mexico, Rick realizes Ashley is being cautious because she still thinks he is on the rebound. Rick and Ashley see a newspaper headline about Ridge's confession. Rick then calls Phoebe. In the meantime, Constantine reaches out to Phoebe, offering her support after her breakup. Phoebe calls Bridget to see if she's heard from Rick. Bridget is hopeful that Rick and Phoebe have a chance at getting back together. At the office, Bridget is slightly shocked to find Taylor's files almost misplaced as those of her mother, and that Brooke's files were not changed back to Logan from Marone.

Both Taylor and Nick are happy that Nick is home again. Phoebe is in shock over both her father's confession and her breakup with Rick. Rick meets Ashley on the Originals Jet as they head off for a business trip. Taylor tries to assure Phoebe that everything will work out, leading her to call and leave a message on his cell phone. Simultaneously, Rick and Ashley begin to kiss on the plane. Rick tells Ashley that he cancelled their business trip and they are headed to a secluded hideaway hotel in Mexico.

Ridge admits to Nick that he did not intentionally frame Nick, but would still love to see him in jail. After Taylor attempts to convince Lt. Baker and Tartaro to find evidence against Ridge, he comes forward and publicly confesses the truth, after which Nick is released from prison. Stephanie confesses the truth the Eric, who is very ashamed of Stephanie. Later when Eric visits Ridge in jail, Eric cannot assure Ridge that everything will be okay.

Nick is taken away soon after saying goodbye to Taylor, but taunts Lt. Baker about putting the wrong person in prison. Meanwhile, Brooke pressures Ridge to come out with the truth about Shane's death. Following Stephanie's advice, Ridge decides to wait until Nick's sentence is read, but confesses the truth to Taylor and Phoebe. Ridge leaves a very angry and distraught Taylor and Phoebe to explain the truth to Nick, adding that Shane's death was still his fault.

Storm calls Phoebe and Ashley to the stand. He questions Phoebe about Ridge's motives and Ashley about the noise she heard in the office. Tartaro paints Nick as an aggressive person with a motive. Stephanie doesn't want Ridge to confess, but Brooke says she'll come forward herself if Ridge doesn't. Ridge is tormented by how the truth will cost him and his family. At the courthouse when Ridge finally arrives, Stephanie tells him to wait until the verdict is handed out. Nick is found guilty and demands Ridge to speak up.

The D.A. Jennifer Tartaro and Storm make their opening statements. They both question the Harbormaster, Lt. Baker and Jackie. In questioning Jackie, it is revealed the blood stain on Nick's shirt could have come from a fight with Shane that would have led to something more aggressive such as death. In Paris, Ridge is tormented by the memory of killing Shane. Brooke realizes she is trapped when Stephanie points the shotgun up in the air. Brooke recalls the humiliation Stephanie put her through and Stephanie remembers the happy times they both had. Brooke finally gets through to Stephanie and calls Ridge to tell him to come home and confess.

Everyone is surprised to learn Brooke never came home the night before and try to figure out what happened to her. Eric tells Jackie that Stephanie went to Paris to help Ridge with an Originals store opening over there and that he doesn't know where Brooke is. The trial begins and still there is no word from Brooke. Storm asks the judge for a postponement but the trial proceeds as scheduled. Stephanie is unfazed by the fact that she is keeping Brooke hostage at the cabin. Brooke is anxious to get to Nick's trial and dashes to her car in attempt to leave. She realizes Stephanie has tampered with her car and she fires a shotgun in the air to get Brooke's attention.

Phoebe is outraged by Rick's accusations against Ridge. Constantine tells Phoebe that Rick's digging around can't hurt Ridge if he is innocent. Rick contemplates whether he should straighten things out with Phoebe. With the trial being moved up, Storm is banking on Brooke to get Ridge's confession. Stephanie stops choking Brooke but says she will do anything to stop her from going to the police. Brooke wants to clear the mess, but Stephanie does not want to go to jail with Ridge. Stephanie tricks Brooke into going to Big Bear by telling her to talk to Ridge before going to the police and that he is at the Big Bear cabin. When Brooke realizes she's been deceived, Stephanie locks her into the cabin.

Phoebe confronts Ashley about accusing Ridge of murder. Rick goes to Ridge's office to investigate and is caught by Phoebe. Phoebe tells him to let go of the accusations against Ridge. Storm hopes that Brooke can get a confession from Stephanie to help Nick. Brooke takes a compassionate path to get Stephanie to confess. Stephanie warns Brooke not to go to the police. Stephanie starts to choke Brooke with the phone cord when she tries to make a call to the police. Nick learns the trial has been moved up to the next day.

Nick is outraged for being arrested again. He is sure the restraining order proves Stephanie and Ridge's guilt. Stephanie wants to bring the D.A. Jennifer Tartaro on the case to speed it up. Phoebe is angry and in shock when Rick tells her about his conversation with Ashley regarding Ridge being involved in Shane's death. Nick asks a torn Rick for help because he has access to Forrester Originals. Storm tells Brooke that he is sure Ridge killed Shane and wants her to get a confession. Stephanie wonders if Brooke is onto something when she comes to see her. Brooke confronts Stephanie in hopes of getting a confession.

Constantine tells Phoebe she has what it takes to be star. Ashley discusses Ridge's suspicious behavior to Rick. Rick thinks it is possible that Ridge killed Shane and dumped the body off the Marlin. Ridge is worried Nick will be able to convince the police to re-open the case. Ridge is fed up with Stephanie's lies and thinks that leaving town will make him look suspicious. Nick is even more determined to clear his name now that he's going to be a father. Stephanie calls Nick and tells him she wants to see him face to face. Nick arrives at Stephanie's and is arrested for violating a restraining order that Stephanie had put out on him.

Phoebe is flattered that Constantine was looking for her. He tells her he wants to sign her for his label. Phoebe tells Rick about Constantine and wants to give him a shot. Jackie wants Brooke to come back to Forrester Creations. Brooke tells her she can't work with Nick everyday because it is too painful. Nick and Taylor try to convince Lt. Baker to pursue the leads against Ridge. Bridget calls Nick and Taylor into the hospital for Taylor's blood test. Nick and Taylor are completely elated to learn they are pregnant. Nick calls Jackie with the good news and Brooke overhears in the background. Brooke is upset by the news because she knows she has lost Nick forever.

Rick and Phoebe learn that their performance from Insomnia is on the internet and creating a buzz. Constantine, a record producer, finds the video and is intrigued by Phoebe. He goes to Insomnia to find Phoebe. Rick is worried about the video and also worried about potential stalkers, in light of Shane's murder. Stephanie wants to create an airtight alibi for Ridge. She wants Ridge to go out of town and go about business as usual. Taylor doesn't believe Ridge murdered Shane but knows that she can see the truth if she sees him. Taylor goes to find Ridge but learns that he is out of town from Stephanie. In talking to Stephanie, Taylor notices her nervous mannerisms. Taylor tells Lt. Baker that Ridge killed Shane.

Ashley and Nick continue their conversation and Ashley tells Nick that she doesn't believe Ridge could kill and set someone up. Nick learns that Ridge didn't show up for his date with Ashley and he was in no condition to see her afterwards. Nick plants the seeds of doubt in Ashley's head. Ridge wonders if Nick has a good lead when Phoebe tells him that Nick accused him of murder. Taylor wonders why Stephanie is bothered by Nick's attempt to clear his name. Stephanie learns that Nick visited Ashley and heads over there to do some damage control. Nick confronts Ridge at Forrester Originals.

Ridge and Ashley reschedule their date. Ridge arrives at Ashley's place to spend the evening with her. Nick questions Phoebe about her night on the Marlin. Phoebe is shocked by Nick's accusations against her father. Nick wants to see Ashley but she is busy with Ridge. After Ridge leaves, Nick arrives and Ashley is shocked when Nick tells her he thinks Ridge killed Shane. Stephanie and Taylor talk;Taylor is confused by Stephanie's strong reaction to Nick's pursuit on a lead against Ridge.

The Forresters hold a press conference to make a brief statement about where they stand on the Shane McGrath murder issue. Ridge is asked to make a statement and says that Nick should pay for his crimes. Nick believes Ridge committed the murder and believes Lt. Baker should be investigating Ridge. Brooke finds out about Nick's arrest and is ready to help in anyway she can. C.J tricks Rick and Phoebe into singing karaoke. He secretly videotapes their performance and puts the recording on the internet to get publicity for Insomnia.

C.J. asks Rick and Phoebe to sing to get he buzz going about karaoke at the Insomnia, but Phoebe isn't in the mood. Phoebe tells Rick she doesn't want to go away with him because she doesn't want them to be tempted to have sex. Stephanie pushes Ridge to remain quiet. Ashley shows Ridge a newspaper article about Nick's arrest and claims that the wrong man was arrested. Ashley suggests going somewhere with Ridge to take his mind off of things. Stephanie urges Ridge to enjoy an evening with Ashley. Taylor comes to see Nick in prison and shows him a picture of the embryos. Nick tells her that there could be a chance somebody framed him. After making bail, Nick arrives at Stephanie's and demands answers.

Nick tells Taylor to go ahead with the IVF procedure. Nick tells Storm that he's crossed many people who might want to frame him. Ridge's guilt takes over but Stephanie tells him that Nick is paying for all the crimes he committed against the family. Ridge tells Stephanie that he lied about shooting Grant Chambers to protect Rick. Stephanie is even more desperate to keep Ridge from confessing. Bridget assures Taylor the arrest is a misunderstanding. Bridget has to do the embryo transfer when Dr. Kimbrough is called away to the delivery room. Taylor is sad that Nick cannot be with her during this monumental moment in their lives. Lt. Baker tells Nick he did not get bail and has to spend the night in jail. Nick vows to go after who ever framed him.

Rick wonders if Ashley is seeing Ridge to get under his skin. Rick tells her that a part of him wants to get back with her but Ashley wants full commitment. Rick is torn between her and Phoebe. Dr. Kimbrough tells Bridget the fertilized eggs are ready for implantation. Lt. Baker insinuates that Taylor, along with Ridge's assistance could have disposed Shane's body. He names Ridge and Nick as suspects. Taylor receives a call from Bridget about the fertilized eggs. Lt. Baker makes an arrest.
Friday, 5/4/07 Episode # 5052
Stephanie tells Ridge not to confess because Nick will pay for the crime. Ridge is worried that it is too risky to put the blame on someone else. Rick wants to take Phoebe to a hotel to relax and see where that leads them. Phoebe is confused because they had said they would wait until marriage to have sex. Rick is clearly "frustrated." Rick is surprised to learn that Ashley is seeing Ridge. Bridget tells Eric that she's moved on from Nick and wishes Brooke would do the same. Stephanie informs Eric about Shane's murder. Jackie questions Nick about Shane but he says he had nothing to with the murder. Stephanie, Eric, Ridge, Phoebe, Nick, Taylor, Jackie are called over to the Forresters by Lt. Baker. Lt. Baker informs everyone that he knows who the killer is and that person is in the room right now.

Phoebe feels guilty that she didn't support Shane when he needed her the most. She warns Rick that people who reach out to her seem to die. Rick comforts her. Ridge makes all the preparations for his children so they are well taken care of when he goes to prison. Taylor thinks that she could be investigated by the police for Shane's murder because she requested a restraining order and is still on probation. Taylor wants Stephanie to use her influence with the police. Stephanie is interested when she learns that Nick can be tied to Shane and that he made a scene in front of Lt. Baker. Nick tells Taylor he's a suspect but there's nothing that can tie him to Shane. A lab technician tells Lt. Baker that five hairs found on the Shady Marlin match Shane. Lt. Baker sends a bagged item he found at Nick's office for analysis. He asks Detective Scott to check out the gun registry for Dominic Marone and Ridge Forrester.

Nick and Taylor get ready for the Invitro process. Bridget wishes them wedded bliss. Nick and Bridget remain professional in an awkward situation when she hands him a specimen cup. Taylor "helps" Nick when he doesn't get inspiration from DVD's and men's magazines. Ridge tries to feign surprise as Lt. Baker tells him that Shane's body washed up on the Venice Beach. Ridge tells Stephanie he's worried the situation has gotten out of hand. Lt. Baker learns that the Shady Marlin left the harbor two nights ago and has his forensic team search the boat for anything that could be tied to Shane. Ridge tells Stephanie he has to turn himself in.

Brooke tries to convince Nick to be with her. Donna and Storm are worried when Nick arrives late to the altar. Brooke wants Nick to stop the wedding but the ceremony progresses. Nick and Taylor exchange vows and are pronounced husband and wife. They inform their guests they have to leave for their Invitro appointment. Ridge is surprised that Rick is the best man at Taylor's wedding. Stephanie tells Brooke that Ridge isn't pining over her and is spending time with Ashley. Ashley sees that Ridge is bothered by something but he tells her to drop the subject. Ridge and Ashley make plans to go away but are interrupted by Lt. Baker's announcement of Shane's death.
