Owen stumbles upon a new friend to console him during his time of sadness. Jackie witnesses Owen’s interaction with this friend and misconstrues the situation as something more than it is.

Before closing the door on her past, Brooke gives Ridge one last opportunity to prove that he wants to be with her. Whip goes to bat for Jackie during a visit to Owen by taking the blame for her indiscretion. Jackie has doubts about her future with Owen and intends to do him a favor by letting him go. Owen makes his own decision about his future. After a long heart-to-heart discussion, Ridge recruits assistance in a plan to publicly display his choice of which woman he’s chosen to be with.

Katie attempts to convince Brooke to change her mind about moving to Paris. Nick regrets the advice he had given to Jackie about her relationship with Owen. Jackie makes a major and surprising decision about her and Owen’s marriage. Thorne warns Stephanie that her celebration may be a bit premature. Ridge hopes that his public grand gesture of love isn’t too late.

Whip is confronted about his feelings for Jackie and is given a stern warning to stay away because the consequences could be devastating. Owen gives Jackie a stipulation attached to him agreeing to reconcile. Katie and Donna are more that happy to convey bad news to Stephanie. Brooke is overjoyed to begin a new chapter in her life.

Ridge is relieved, and once again reminded of what a remarkable woman Taylor is, when she graciously lets him off the hook about reuniting with Brooke. Brooke and Stephanie share a rare moment over a bottle of tequila. Jackie heeds Owen’s demand and fires Whip. Nick reminds Owen that every choice has a consequence and the consequence of him firing Whip just might be a major change in Owen and Jackie’s lifestyle.

During the celebration of Brooke and Ridge’s wonderful news, Rick shocks everyone with news of his own. Realizing that firing Whip would not be for Jackie M’s highest good, Owen and Whip meet in the middle and reach an agreement about new company practices. Jackie is horrified when Whip confides that he found incriminating information about her while surfing the Internet.

Owen turns to Steffy for comfort after his emotional ordeal with Jackie.

Eric plans to make Marcus an official member of the Forrester family. Jackie and Owen confer about how her past will affect their future. Donna and Justin discuss old times and where their lives have taken them since they last saw each other. After meeting Marcus, Justin becomes suspicious if Donna’s son could also be his. Eric shocks Stephanie by revealing his plan to adopt Marcus. Stephanie asks Eric if he has taken his other children under consideration with his decision. After Eric leaves, a distraught Stephanie suffers a mini stroke.

Following the festivities, Stephanie has a frightening experience which causes her to become concerned about her health. Brooke and Ridge exchange information about their families.

Donna accompanies Eric down memory lane as he recalls his more fond recollections of his years with Stephanie. Eric gives Donna advice about dealing with a special someone from her past. Taylor becomes concerned about Stephanie after an emotional conversation about the meaning of life. Later, Stephanie experiences another terrifying experience, but greater intensity.

Marcus digests the unexpected information that Justin is his biological father. Katie learns of Bill’s renewed vendetta against Forrester Creations and the part he would like her to play in it.

Now that he has met his biological father, Marcus must decide whether or not he would like to continue with Eric adopting him. Bill takes an extreme measure to acquire Forrester Creations, but has Katie to contend with.

Katie changes her mind about his plan after Bill utters the three little words that she has longed to hear. Eric announces to his family the new addition to their clan.
