March 10, 2010… Los Angeles, CA… Actor/writer/producer/radio personality, Brad Sanders has signed on to host an online recap show exclusive to THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL’s official website, www.boldandbeautiful.com, Executive Producer and Head Writer, Bradley P. Bell announced today.
Sanders is best known as “Clarence,” a character he created, from one of the country’s most popular radio programs, The Clarence Update, which reprised the plot twists and turns of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL’s sister show, The Young and the Restless. Sanders is revamping The Clarence Update and taking on the New Media foray by tailoring his show to recap THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL and streaming exclusively to members of www.boldandbeautiful.com. Membership to THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL’s website is free and can be obtained by registering at www.boldandbeautiful.com. The Clarence Update, produced by Bell-Phillip Television Productions, Inc., will premiere Friday, March 12th.
In addition to The Clarence Update, Sanders’ history in radio is a vast one. He has also appeared as “Ti-Rone” on the syndicated show, On the Phone with Ti-Rone, and lent his writing/producing skills and talent to the short-form soap opera Its Your World on The Tom Joyner Show, which can be seen on www.itsyourworldsoap.com.
Besides radio, Sanders is a talented actor and stand-up comedian. Some of his feature films include Bebe’s Kids, The Last Stand, Hollywood Shuffle, and Brewster’s Millions. His stand-up comedy can be seen in many night clubs across the Los Angeles Area.
On August 30, 2009, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL won the Emmy for “Outstanding Drama Series” at the 36th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards.
