Los Angeles, CA… Multi-award winning, multi-talented, and everyone’s favorite “Golden Girl”, Betty White, is riding high on her recent return to popular culture royalty and possibly riding it right into a Daytime Entertainment Emmy® nomination.
White is in the running to receive an “Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role” for her critically acclaimed dramatic performance as “Ann Douglas” on the world’s most watched daily dramatic serial, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
In November 2009, White led a tear-jerking, all-female episode where “Stephanie” and “Pam” (played by Susan Flannery and Alley Mills) make a heart-wrenching decision and say a final goodbye to their ill-tempered mother, “Ann.”
The 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Award nominations will be announced on Wednesday, May 12th. The awards will be given out on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from the Las Vegas Hilton at 8:00 p.m. ET and PT.
