Yvette Freeman

Yvette Freeman stars as “Dr. Lewis” on the multi-Emmy® Award winning daytime drama, The Bold and the Beautiful.  “Dr. Lewis”, an oncologist, was first introduced in 2009 when she treated a dying “Ann Douglas” (played by Betty White) while getting caught in the middle of a family dispute between “Ann’s” daughters, “Stephanie Forrester” (played by Emmy© Award winner Susan Flannery) and “Pam Douglas” (played by Alley Mills).  The doctor now finds herself treating her one-time adversary, “Stephanie”, and overseeing her treatment for lung cancer. 

Best known for her role as “Nurse Haleh Adams” on the hit primetime dramatic series ER, Freeman has also made many television appearances on shows such as  Days of Our Lives, LA Law, NYPD Blue, Judging Amy, Boston Public, and most recently Pretty Little Liars.  Her film credits include Angus and Dead Again. 

Freeman is also an accomplished producer and director of short films.  Some of her credits include Hideous Scream and Remember, which she had also written.

An Arts and Theater graduate of University of Delaware, Freeman has performed in many stage productions including Having Our Say: The Delaney Sister’s First 100 Years and Dinah Was, for which she won an Obie Award in 1998.

In 2011, Freeman received an NAACP Image Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series for her role on The Bold and the Beautiful.
