Stephanie believes that Ridge and Taylor could have a wonderful future together without Brooke in the way and vows not to rest until that happens. Thomas puts on the performance of his life as he recounts his story about what happened between him and Brooke on the island while they were under the influence of the berries. Brooke denies Thomas’ claim as Ridge demands to know more information. Realizing that there is nothing he can do to change Taylor’s lingering feelings for Ridge, Whip makes a drastic decision about his marriage.

Ridge doesn’t understand how Brooke can be certain that she didn’t have the same reaction to the berries as Taylor had. Stephanie makes Thomas a lucrative offer to lie about what happened on the island in exchange for a much brighter future at Forrester Creations. Whip’s feelings are hurt when Taylor shuns him as he attempts to comfort her. Stephanie forewarns Steffy that Ridge and Taylor will ultimately reunite… and soon. Thomas tells Ridge and Brooke about the events that took place on the island that he recently remembered.

Thomas becomes sentimental as he watches Ridge dote over Taylor while she’s in the hospital. Stephanie becomes suspicious when she overhears Thomas make a private phone call to Brooke. Taylor confides in Steffy about how she often thinks about what her life would have been like if she and Ridge had stayed together. When Ridge tells her how the berries acted as an aphrodisiac on Taylor, Brooke assures him that she did not receive the same effect. Stephanie makes Thomas an offer that he can’t refuse after he tells her the truth about what really happened on the island.

Taylor is rushed to the hospital after ingesting the berries that Thomas brought back from the island. Brooke is interrupted by Stephanie just as she is about to tell Ridge about what she believes to have happened on the island with Thomas. Furious that his wife had been poisoned due to careless behavior, Whip reprimands Thomas for putting his mother in grave danger and grills him about why he still has the berries. Taylor confesses to Ridge about her hallucinations of him while she was under the influence of the berries.

Ridge suggests to Brooke that they use their time at home alone for her to tell him what happened on the island. Thomas takes the berries from the island to a laboratory to be tested for possible affects and long-term concerns. Taylor experiences hallucinations after mistakenly ingesting a small amount of the island berries. Whip misreads Taylor’s hallucinations as amorousness and plays along, not knowing that she is flashing back to a special moment in time with Ridge.

Stephanie declares that their opposition towards each other is back on due to Brooke hiding from Ridge what happened on the island with Thomas. Taylor unknowingly stumbles across a souvenir that Thomas had secretly brought home from the island. During a clandestine meeting, Steffy makes it clear to Bill that she will not give up on him until she is his one and only.

When Thomas grills Steffy about what has been going on between her and Bill, she admits to him that she professed her love for Bill. Katie confesses to Brooke and Donna that her relationship with Bill has been strained ever since she moved back home. Bill shares with Justin his feelings for Steffy and his distrust in Katie ever since their therapy session with Taylor.

The wind is let out of Whip’s sails after Taylor is unresponsive to his advances towards her and then mistakenly refers to Ridge as her husband. As a favor to Ridge, Dayzee surprises Thomas with a romantic dinner where she asks him to recount his experience on the island. Still shaken and feeling guilt over what may have happened on the island with Thomas, Brooke asks Ridge to promise that he’ll love her forever.

Ridge asks Dayzee to help Thomas deal with his experience on the island by allowing him to confide in her about what happened. While being interrogated by Taylor, Brooke has flashes of memory about what transpired between her and Thomas. Tawny continues her ruse of pretending to be Hope in text messages to Liam. Frustrated by the texts he has been receiving from “Hope”, Liam considers moving in with Amber.

During the press conference, Brooke is overwrought with emotion as she flashes back to her time on the island. The media, as well as the Forrester family, are confused by Brooke’s sudden erratic behavior and incomprehensible speech. Liam is shell-shocked by the complete change of attitude from Hope in her latest text messages. Amber is oblivious about the latest scheme that Tawny has up her sleeve and how indebted she is to Carl. Taylor confronts Brooke and demands answers.

Liam informs Amber that he and Hope are in the process of attempting to mend their relationship. Oliver is extremely heartbroken that Hope is still not able to move on with him while getting over Liam. Taylor confesses to Stephanie how good it felt to spend all of that time with Ridge while searching for Thomas and Brooke. A press conference is scheduled at Forrester Creations for Thomas and Brooke to introduce the new Taboo women’s line.

As a means to get more attention from Liam, Amber guilts him into “getting on the same page” as her regarding their baby. Hope goes to Brooke for advice about what to do about her painfully lingering feelings towards Liam. Assuming that he’s hiding something, Steffy grills Thomas about what really happened on the island with Brooke. Tawny puts a new conniving plan into motion to secure Amber and her baby’s future with Liam. Promising not to give up on their relationship, Liam presents Hope a solution to their current situation.

Tawny gives Amber advice about how to bait Liam into her clutches for good by using her baby as an emotional hook. Brooke has a difficult time expressing her feelings to her family and friends and conveying what she and Thomas went through on the island. Steffy tells Dayzee about what Thomas was asking for after being rescued. Stephanie catches Brooke off-guard when she admits how much she was worried. Ridge makes an important announcement about Thomas’ new role at Forrester Creations. After the recent chain of events, Bill and Katie have new and different outlooks on their marriage.

Brooke reunites with RJ without him ever knowing that she had just lived through a plane crash and being stranded on a deserted island. Whip’s jealousy and insecurity in his marriage resurfaces due to the excessive amount of time Taylor has been spending with Ridge. Oliver watches Hope and Liam together at the party and becomes concerned that they may be reuniting. Tawny tells Amber about her visit with Hope.

After seeing how quickly a loved one could be lost, Jackie and Owen express their undying love for each other verbally and physically. Katie conveys her appreciation to Nick for his help in the search for Brooke and Thomas. Steffy tells Bill that she refuses to give up on him now that she knows his true feelings for her. Bill is taken aback when Steffy tells him that she wants to be his wife.

New information about the search for Brooke and Thomas is delivered to the Logan and Forrester families. While Bill is away helping to find Brooke and Thomas, Katie has a change of heart about her marriage. Bill and Steffy discuss their future now that they have exchanged their true feelings for each other. Oliver attempts to thwart any further intimacy between Hope and Liam.

The Logan and Forrester families gather together and await word on the results of the search for Brooke and Thomas. Ridge and Taylor begin their own search for their loved ones from an old fishing boat. Eric prepares Stephanie for the worst case scenario; Brooke and Thomas may never be found. Donna surprisingly finds comfort from an unlikely person: Pam. Emotional from their search, Bill and Steffy exchange loving feelings for each other.

When the hunt for Brooke and Thomas is called off by the officials search and rescue team, Ridge refused to give up and heads out on his own search. Nick delivers the bad news and additional information about the search to the Logan and Forrester families. Stephanie has a difficult time thinking about a life without Thomas, and surprisingly, Brooke. Bill attempts to buy more time from his sources that are assisting him in the pursuit to find Brooke and Thomas.

As Nick and Ridge are out searching for Thomas and Brooke, Steffy remembers when she had lost her other sibling, Phoebe. Stephen uses his place as the patriarch of the Logan clan to comfort his family as they await word about Brooke. Old feelings of jealousy resurface for Whip as he thinks about all of the time Taylor is spending with Ridge on their search for Brooke and Thomas. The chances of finding Brooke and Thomas alive become more and more slim as the day comes to an end.
