Daytime Emmy® Winning Actress Rena Sofer Joins the Cast of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
May 30, 2013… Los Angeles, CA… Daytime Emmy® winning actress, Rena Sofer, has been cast in a contract role on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFU, Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell announced this week. Sofer will play “Quinn Fuller,” a jewelry designer and mother of “Wyatt Fuller” (played by Daytime Emmy® winner, Darin Brooks) who has long been long keeping a dark secret. “Rena’s powerful screen presence and vast range as an actress is what intrigued me most”, said Bell. “I look forward to challenging Rena with this role”.
Sofer began taping on Tuesday, May 21st and her first episode is scheduled to air on Friday, July 12th, 2013.
Best known in Daytime for her portrayal as “Lois Cerullo” on General Hospital, for which she won a Daytime Emmy® as “Outstanding Supporting Actress” in 1995, Sofer has also guest starred on a number of television hits such as Covert Affairs, NCIS, Two and a Half Men, Heros, 24, Ed, Just Shoot Me, Melrose Place, Seinfeld and most recently as “Queen Eva” on Once Upon a Time. She began her illustrious career portraying “Amelia ‘Rocky’ McKenzie” on Loving.
