What happened to the caring and loving mother of the Logans - Beth?
As far as i can remember she was the sacrificially mother that everyone would wish to have. She had to raise four children because daddy made his way out but she was successful although she couldn`t be with the man she truly loved – Eric Forrester!
Now years later she comes back to LA and the Logans are reunited, well quite reunited. Since Storm`s death nothing is the same in this family. And there my trouble with Beth begins. The loving and carying mother who would have given her life for her children didn`t show up at her only sons memorial service – NO – she also wasn`t worried about the health of her baby daughter Katie.
Through this whole storyline everyone kept asking about Beth and why she doesn`t take place in her families life after all the tragedies that had happened `cause everyone would agree that no mother who loves her kids just stays away in such a tough time. And the way she spoke to Katie on the phone was more than dissapointing, not to say Beth seemed to be bored about Katie even though she just told her mom that she`s doing fine after no one wasn`t sure Katie would survive but Beth just hung up with a lame excuse.
Now here is my question! What is wrong with Beth Logan?
Is she taking out a loan that she thinks she`s got over all this years? Like – I`ve taken care of you guys and now the ball`s in your dads court? That would be a huge change of character if you ask me.
As far as i`m concerned, no matter what excuse comes along, i won`t buy it cause there is just no excuse for the long term absence after all that this family has gone through. I remember that Stephen told his daughters Beth would be all too traumatized to come to LA – Okay, personally i have a hard time to believe this but if that would have been the case when exactly did Beth got over it, never, or was she still traumatized when Katie AGAIN rejected the heart and had just a few weeks to live!?
So far Beth is acting extremely strange and whatever Beth will do in LA, I just hope it won`t end with Nick being interested in her. His merry-go-round in the Logan family is just annoying though he knows how to take out the Logan-girls, so will Beth fall for it too in the near future or did Beths time arrive to reunite with „her destiny“ Eric? Which would start another mother-daughter battle for one man.
But the most interesting question of all is: How will Stephanies reaction be?
Cause Beth, for sure, is the one Logan Stephanie hates even more than Brooke. I`m all for a little Stephanie-Beth-fighting, not just because i want the „old“ Stephanie back but most of all i wanna see Susan Flannery at her best.
