#5933 Friday, 10/29/10
Stephanie continues to interview homeless people as she begins to gain a greater understanding of their plight. She begins to feel a connection with those around her and realizes that she, indeed, can make a difference in their lives. Eric begins to worry that Stephanie has encountered trouble while downtown. Brooke ventures downtown to the shelter to find Stephanie and is surprised to find Stephanie with the residents. Brooke and Stephanie listen intently as a group of homeless people narrate their stories about their lives on skid row. Stephanie assures her new friends that she is going to do everything she can to help them and other less fortunate people.

Stephanie is ready to help the homeless and is hesitant, but excited, to meet the residents and hear their stories. She is convinced that she has found her life’s purpose. Brooke informs Eric that Stephanie is not recuperating from her surgery as she should be, but is downtown at the homeless shelter. Eric is upset and can’t believe she would choose to spend her last days with the homeless instead of with him. Brooke thinks that Stephanie could be an inspiration for both herself and Eric. Stubbornly set in his ways, Eric explains to Brooke how he had envisioned a different retirement for him and Stephanie.

Nick is impressed with Amber’s latest designs and asks her to move up the debut of the line. Hope sees a hung over Oliver and warns him about Amber. She worries about him still being employed at Forrester Creations and suggests that he take a leave of absence. Stephanie comes home from the hospital and immediately wants to get to work, helping Dayzee at the homeless shelter. Ridge is touched when Stephanie apologizes to Brooke and accepts her as a member of the family. Stephanie secretly leaves the house to go to the homeless shelter where she insists on helping Dayzee.

Ridge attempts to play mediator between Brooke and Taylor. Bill taunts Hope for staring at Oliver throughout the evening and suggests that Oliver and Amber will most likely have sex tonight. Hope harshly criticizes Bill about his treatment of Liam. When Amber sees that Oliver has the new Forrester Creations designs in his possession, she talks him into taking her home where she overloads him with tequila so that she can steal the designs while he’s passed out.

When Taylor lashes out at Brooke for inappropriate behavior with Thomas, he tells his mother to mind her own business; he will continue to work with Brooke despite Taylor’s concerns. Taylor’s continued insults cross the line and are thrown back in her face… by the palm of Brooke’s hand. Amber overhears Nick, Aggie and Whip talking about how Amber’s new Jackie M line has been a disappointment. Inspired by Sally Spectra, Amber decides to get more designs by meeting Oliver at Bikini Beach and stealing the latest from Forrester Creations.

Amber confronts Aggie after overhearing her attempt to convince Nick to fire her. Fearing for her job, Amber assures Nick that she will produce designs comparable to “Hope for the Future”. Thomas shows Ridge and Brooke sketches for the men’s line to convince Ridge to make a final decision about approving the line. Taylor overhears the pitch and is not happy to learn that Thomas will be working closely with Brooke on the project. Amber helps Oliver make Hope jealous. Little does Oliver know that he is also helping Amber.

Amber fakes an injury to get Oliver’s attention and uses her charm to flatter him with compliments. She suggests that Oliver should have some fun with someone else while waiting for Hope to come back to him. In the hospital recuperating from her surgery, Stephanie is impatient to recover so that she can get to work on her new project. Dayzee tells Taylor, Liam and Hope of her history and how she met Stephanie. After hearing Dayzee’s story about being homeless and how many thousands of people are on the streets, Stephanie vows to help make a difference.

Ridge shows his appreciation to Brooke for supporting Stephanie during her cancer. Aggie claims her stake on Nick and warns Amber to stay away. Amber attempts to make Aggie feel insecure by questioning Nick’s feelings for her. Nick confesses to Aggie about Amber coming onto him and is surprised to learn that she already knew. Thomas approaches Ridge and Brooke about creating his own men’s line. Amber goes out of her way to meet Oliver... but with an ulterior motive.

Following her surgery, a weak Stephanie awakens to the sight of her family at her bedside. Brooke introduces Dayzee to the Forresters and explains how instrumental she was at Stephanie’s decision to seek treatment for her cancer. Stephanie informs her family about how she wants to help the homeless and asks them for assistance. Amber devises a mischievous plan as she observes Nick and Aggie in an intimate moment. She later pays a visit to Nick in the steam room and attempts to seduce him. Whip and Aggie help Oliver strategize about how to win Hope back. After witnessing Amber’s advances towards Nick, Aggie angrily confronts her.

Stephanie checks herself into the hospital and demands immediate attention to treat her disease. Eric, Ridge, and Thorne are surprised when they learn who was behind an anonymous message they received to meet at the Forrester Mansion. With Stephanie’s permission, Taylor and Pam tell the family about Stephanie’s cancer. Stephanie emotionally thanks Brooke for never giving up on her and vows to make a difference in the world after her recovery. They bid each other goodbye as Stephanie is wheeled into the operating room.

Stephanie locates the homeless girl and insists on getting her scarf back, but instead receives much, much more. While on her search for Stephanie, Brooke mistakenly offends her new friend by the insensitivity of her words and is forced to apologize in order to gain his assistance. Brooke gets more than just help from this man, she gains a better appreciation for her life. Pam confides in Taylor her fear of losing Stephanie after just having lost their mother less than a year ago. Stephanie learns more about the homeless girl and why the scarf means so much to her.

Taylor questions Dr. Lewis about Stephanie’s cancer and what possible treatments are available at this stage of the disease. Stephanie and Brooke continue to chase after the homeless girl with the intention of getting the scarf back. During their search, Brooke and Stephanie become separated and find themselves in separate less-than desirable areas of skid row. Stephanie finds herself in a once-familiar neighborhood and comes across a former acquaintance. Brooke befriends a homeless man that unintentionally teaches her a valuable life lesson.

Taylor assures Stephanie that she is the only person that Brooke had told about the cancer. Stephanie stands firm that she will not be seeking treatment, despite Taylor’s thought-provoking plea. Brooke and Taylor accompany Stephanie with checking off the next item on her bucket list. While on their quest, they see the homeless girl that took her scarf and chase after her. Bill tells Liam that his article on Steffy was boring and that it needs to be sexier. Hope asks Steffy to help Liam become more successful in his writing in his interview with her. Liam and a photographer arrive at Steffy’s office for their next interview and find her modeling lingerie. Oliver tells Hope that he wants her back.

Stephanie becomes reflective on her life and flashes back to memorable times she has shared with her loved ones. Brooke is about to tell Ridge about Stephanie’s cancer, but he stops her before she can spill the secret. Dr. Lewis pays a visit to Stephanie at home and learns that she doesn’t intend on having any treatment for her disease. Brooke shows up at Taylor’s office because she needs someone to confide in and confesses to Taylor about Stephanie’s cancer. Brooke returns to Stephanie’s house and admits that she told someone about her illness.

Stephanie demands that the homeless girl gives back the scarf and then runs after the girl when she flees. Once back at the office, Stephanie shocks everyone by her lack of reaction to the news that Brooke is returning to Forrester Creations. Ridge makes an assumption about why Stephanie and Brooke have been getting along so well. Nick and Amber admit that their kiss was a mistake and agree to keep their interaction strictly professional in the future. After seeing Nick and Amber together, Whip questions Amber about her recent rise in the ranks and how it has happened.

Nick makes it clear to Jackie about the ramifications she will face if she chooses to continue on with her current way of life. Bridget wonders about Amber and Aggie’s role in Nick’s drastic and sudden decision. Nick and Bridget share an emotional “goodbye” after she apologizes to him for causing him such emotional pain. Stephanie becomes distressed when she loses an item that has special meaning.

Despite Brooke’s pleas, Stephanie stands firm that she doesn’t want to get treatment for her cancer. Brooke finds herself tagging along with Stephanie as she checks off an important item on her “bucket list”. Bridget gives Jackie and Owen her sincere apology for Rick’s proposal. Nick and Amber plan and plot out changes that they plan to implement within Jackie M. At a company meeting, Nick announces that it is time for all of them all to move forward and then reveals the new changes that will be taking place, effective immediately.

When Thomas attempts to convince Ridge to bring Brooke back to Forrester Creations, Ridge agrees and takes action to make it happen. Steffy appears at her interview with Liam wearing various items of lingerie so that he can get “up close and personal” with the line. After Hope confronts Steffy about the way she keeps throwing herself at men, Steffy warns her that she will be spending a lot more time with Liam on future projects.

Steffy unexpectedly shows up at Bill’s office and presents him with an enticing proposition. When Bill learns of Steffy’s motive behind her proposal, he agrees to her plan… while having a motive of his own. Oliver apologizes to Hope again for his indiscretion with Brooke and begs for another chance. Hope dashes Oliver’s expectation of a reconciliation when she tells him that she is now dating Liam. Bill gives Liam his first big assignment as an employee of Spencer Publications.

Donna and Katie pay a visit to Bridget to make sure that she is holding up after the scandal broke about Owen being her baby’s father. Stephanie refuses to believe that Brooke is sincere about wanting to be there for support while seeking medical attention for her cancer. Still reeling from Rick’s proposal, Jackie reminds him that she is happily married to Owen. Rick explains how he and Jackie could both benefit from being a couple.

Bridget begs Rick to reconsider his tactics after he attempts to convince her to support his pursuit of Jackie. Afterwards, Rick makes an unexpected, yet persuasive, proposition to Jackie. Bridget and Owen stumble upon information of how the public perceives their current situation. Owen is taken aback by Bridget’s reaction to this information. Brooke finds a private letter written by Stephanie that contains a secret that she’s been keeping from her loved ones.
