Taylor is distressed about Massimo's plan to exile Brooke, and they meet to discuss her concerns, but things almost go from bad to worse when Ridge misses seeing them together. When Ridge expresses concern about Brooke’s situation, Taylor claims to be ill so they can drop the subject. Stephen tells Beth he’s counting on her to go along with the plan, but Brooke is confused when his mother seems reluctant to speak about Stephen's illness. Kristen assures Tony that they can find ways to love each other safely, and they abandon themselves to the passion. Eric races over to Tony's house, determined to stop Tony and Kristen from making what he thinks is a terrible mistake.
