Jackie worries about Nick's future with Massimo when Nick reports that Massimo is Ridge's father. Eric lashes out at Massimo for manipulating his children, claiming that Massimo can’t truly care about Ridge if he’s pressuring him to pursue Bridget. Massimo refuses to listen to Eric tell him how to run his family. When Eric lunges at Massimo, security must forcefully remove him from the premises. Eric arrives at the beach house unaware that Jackie has rented the place. Both are startled by the other’s presence, but also intrigued. Deacon drops by Brooke’s to tell her she made the right decision calling off the wedding and to see his daughter. Brooke instantly regrets allowing Deacon some time with the child and orders him to leave. When the doorbell rings, Brooke assumes Deacon has come back, but instead, she comes face-to-face with Ridge.
