Ridge is surprised to learn Eric is staying at the beach house with Jackie. Ridge is chagrined when, after he's been complaining about Nick, he learns Jackie is Nick's mother. Jackie says she is confident Nick will make an impression on Brooke. Nick takes Brooke into the harbor, which makes her recall her uncomplicated youth. Brooke is touched when Nick assures her she is still the same girl. Deacon realizes who Macy is. Macy assures Deacon that no matter what happened with Brooke and Bridget, he doesn't deserve to be kept from his kids. With Macy's encouragement, Deacon decides to take a stand against Brooke.
