Brooke tells Caroline she is moving back in and that she wants to be her friend again. Caroline is reluctant. Brooke accuses Caroline of jealousy. Burke makes life especially hard for Stephanie in jail.
Ridge is worried about Stephanie and Eric. Detective Powers tells Stephanie she will spend the night in jail. Eric tries to have Stephanie released, but cannot. Stephanie is terrified. Eric lies to Ridge about where Stephanie is.
The other prisoners hassle Stephanie, but she refuses to tell them anything. Ridge tells Caroline that he asked Brooke to move back in and that he told her he loves her. Caroline is disappointed. Thorne is glad that Brooke is back.
Through her therapist, Caroline realizes she must either hurt Thorne by leaving or be unhappy by staying. Burke urges Eric and Stephanie to tell the truth, but they refuse. Stephanie is finally released without charges.
