Steffy, Ridge, Bill, and Carter are outraged by the judge's decision to release Sheila and try to find an alternative way of convicting her. Still, the judge is unable to do anything. Liam watches in disbelief as Finn and Sheila embrace in the hallway and decides to record it. Liam observes Finn's attitude and questions him in front of everyone about his true feelings regarding Sheila's release. Finn insists that he is just as shocked and upset as everyone else. Brooke and R.J. anticipate the verdict for Sheila’s case. Brooke is relieved that Sheila will no longer impact Steffy and Finn. Brooke and R.J. are shocked to learn about the judge's decision. Liam shares what he witnessed after the hearing with Wyatt and is adamant that Finn can no longer be trusted to protect Steffy and the children. Steffy is terrified about Sheila's release and asks Finn to promise to keep their family safe. Sheila excitedly informs Mike that she has been released from custody.
