Sheila listens as Bill asks Katie if they still have a chance. Pretending to have just walked in, Sheila is relieved when it becomes clear that Katie has moved on. Taylor insists to Hope and Steffy that Sheila will return to jail if she turns herself in. Steffy laments that Sheila will find a way out and Taylor will be the only one behind bars. Katie and Sheila soon go off on one another about Sheila's psychotic behavior and her relationship with Bill. Sheila remains strong in the belief that she and Bill are in love. Katie refuses to see the bad in Bill and firmly maintains that she will not allow Will to lose his father to Sheila Carter. Later, Katie arrives at Steffy's house and pleads to know what Bill has on them, what this awful blackmail is. She's sure she can help make it right if she could learn the truth.
