Ridge and Brooke's connection is palpable, although Brooke ultimately breaks the moment due to her pact with Taylor. Hope is rattled when she fantasizes about Thomas while kissing Liam. After they make love, Hope worries about her strange thoughts about Thomas. Ridge and Brooke agree to keep things platonic, although they both realize how much they missed talking and laughing with each other. Liam is caught off guard when Hope says she must leave to attend to something with Brooke. Hope witnesses Brooke and Ridge and assumes there is a romance going on. When Ridge leaves, Hope confronts Brooke for breaking her pact with Taylor. Brooke is stunned when Hope launches into a tirade about how she continually moves on from one man to the next.
