Chef Daniele visits Il Giardino and congratulates Deacon on its success. He then gives Deacon a secret to making the perfect pizza. Hope's feelings for Thomas make her heart race as they work side by side on a design. Eric, Ridge, and RJ have lunch and bond over being three generations of Forresters. Ridge suggests to RJ that he work at the family business, as it is a great way to put his unique talent and charisma to work. Thomas confirms to Hope that he hasn’t seen RJ yet, and wonders if his brother is avoiding him. When Chef Daniele departs, a mysterious man, Count Bouche, arrives at Il Giardino and reveals himself to be a master sommelier. He boasts to Deacon that he can help Deacon make money.
