Stephanie asks Brooke if she can come to the wedding. Brooke relents. Margo confesses to Eric she had wanted to be his next wife. Bill overhears her confession. Brooke and Ridge kiss passionately. Brooke is in tears afterwards.
Bill tells Margo he heard what she said to Eric. Margo agrees to discuss it later. Ridge asks Brooke is she wants to marry Eric. Brooke admits she still loves Ridge. Ridge asks Brooke to marry him. She says yes.
Brooke realizes her marriage to Ridge was all a dream. Thorne becomes too ill to stay in the ceremony, and Eric asks Ridge to be his best man. Stephanie comes to the wedding and puts on a brave face.
