Ridge is convinced that Taylor is still alive. Macy and Anthony are crushed as they realize that C.J. has come to think of Anthony as his father. Jack tries to reassure Ridge that Taylor died happy. Ridge is crushed when a courier delivers a charred piece of clothing received from the crash and Ridge identifies it as an item he made especially for Taylor. There is no further doubt that Taylor is dead.
