Brooke is floored when she discovers James is staying with the Forresters and has become friends with Ridge. Brooke tells James she suspects something happened between him and Taylor at Big Bear, and she is determined to find out the truth because she knows it would destroy Taylor and Ridge's marriage. Ridge tells Taylor he trusts her completely and has no ill will towards James. Taylor is torn as to what to do.
