Dr. Paxson learns that there was a glitch in Hillside Clinical Labs' computer system and that several test results, including Brooke's paternity test, were possibly compromised. Dr. Paxson plans to contact her clients to inform them of this horrible mistake and reschedule the tests. Jackie is impressed with Caitlin, and when Caitlin inquires about why Jackie is so happy, Jackie shares the news that she’s about to become a grandmother. Jackie receives a phone call from Dr. Paxson looking for Nick. Eric informs Stephanie that Ridge had annulment papers drawn up for Brooke. Thomas overhears this news and tells Stephanie and Eric that he, Steffy, and Phoebe want Brooke to move back into the house so that they can all be a family again. Thomas states that he will not give up on the idea of Brooke moving back with Ridge. Ridge tells a heartbroken Brooke that in order for them to make a clean break, they need to sign the papers. Brooke and Ridge agree that they both don’t want to sign the papers, but Ridge insists that they have to, for the kids. While they are talking, Brooke receives a call, but lets it go to her machine. Although she hasn’t heard it yet, it’s Dr. Paxson telling Brooke that she needs to see her right away.
