Though Ridge denies his Marone heritage, he agrees to allow Massimo to see R.J. Eric worries Ridge is being drawn back in, but Ridge states that he feels sorry for Massimo. Nick and Brooke decide to remain friends. After Nick has left, Jackie boards the boat looking for him but finds Brooke instead. Thomas runs into Hector while looking for Caitlin. Hector lets Thomas know that he approves of him. Meanwhile, at lunch, Rick and Caitlin talk about her passion for designing, but when the subject of Thomas comes up, she leads Rick to believe that they're just friends.
