After arguing over their opposing moral beliefs, Hope unsuccessfully asks Steffy for a truce. Bill voices his appreciation to Steffy for helping Liam and how much he prefers her over Hope being in a relationship with his son. Steffy reveals to Bill her plan to save Liam from what she feels will ultimately be a miserable marriage to Hope. A heated argument between Ridge and Thorne leads to an act of violence, followed by one of them losing consciousness. Ridge is stunned by the events that immediately take place following their altercation.
