Hope is ecstatic that Douglas will be coming home to her. Thomas thanks Hope for giving him a second chance. Not realizing that Hope changed her mind, Liam confides in Wyatt how Thomas attempted to weasel his way back into Hope’s life by asking for his job back at Forrester Creations. Believing that everything that has gone wrong in Hope’s life is because of Thomas, Liam feels relieved that Thomas won’t be a problem for his family anymore. Steffy and Thomas react when Hope explains how opposed Liam is to Thomas returning to Forrester Creations and that she hasn’t told him yet that she is going against her wishes. Hope continues that she must go now to let Liam know about her change of heart. After Hope leaves, Thomas assures Steffy that he hopes this won't be a problem in Hope's marriage. When Hope returns to the cabin, she first tells Liam the excellent news that Douglas will be returning to them. She takes her time to reveal that she has seen a fundamental change in Thomas and is allowing him to return to work on The Hope for the Future line. Extended Director's Cut.
