Thomas, Hope, Liam, and Steffy are stunned when Douglas announces that he doesn't want to live with Thomas or Hope but with his Aunt Steffy. Finn and Li spend quality time together. Deacon professes his feelings to Sheila, who rebuffs him. Deacon can tell Sheila feels the same way he does and calls her bluff. He continues to attempt to convince Sheila to come back to him. Hope and Thomas each try to appeal to Douglas, but he is set on going home with Steffy. Sheila pulls back when Deacon tries to kiss her, reminding Deacon that she is with Bill now. The Judge suggests to Douglas that they allow his parents and aunt to take a moment to discuss the situation. She, Liam, and Douglas leave the room. Steffy tells it like it is to Thomas and Hope, stating that they only have themselves to blame. Thomas gets angry and storms out, allowing Hope to appeal to Steffy as a mother to end this situation and allow her to keep Douglas. Sheila angrily lashes out at Deacon after he references her relationship with Bill. She spews hateful words to Deacon, reminding him that he ended things with her and that now she is ending things with him, once and for all. Sheila exits, leaving Deacon hurt and confused. She stops outside his door, absolutely heartbroken, and remembers the wonderful times she spent with Deacon. Extended Director's Cut.
