Connor realizes Brooke wanted Eric to marry Sheila so Ridge would not feel guilty about stealing Brooke from his father. Sheila tells Eric she couldn't marry him because it would alienate him from his family. Ridge tells Taylor he thinks Connor is using Brooke. Stephanie thanks Lauren for stopping the wedding. Sheila tells Eric she still wants to marry him.
