Started watching B&B with my grandmother and mother. I was probably 8 when I first started watching B&B. Began watching full time during the "Who shot Grant" storyline. Another reason why I started watching B&B so early was Sheila. Every time she was on scene, I knew I was up for a good time!
My grandmother used to watch the entire CBS soap lineup (Y&R, B&B, As the World Turns, and Guiding Light). She recorded them every day and watched the VHS tapes when she got home from work. I became a fan through her and fell in love with the medium. In college, I had the privilege of working for All My Children and was able to see first-hand how much dedication and hard work goes into creating a daytime drama.
In terms of characters, I've always returned to the show for the Stephanie vs. Brooke storylines and anything involving Sheila. Seeing Susan Flannery, Katherine Kelly Lang, and Kimberlin Brown perform is like watching the acting Olympics.
