Brooke worries that there will be discord between Ridge and R.J., but when the three get together, Ridge tells his son that there are no hard feelings and that he is delighted that R.J. is designing and embracing his birthright as a Forrester. Alone, Ridge and R.J. discuss Eric, and Ridge reveals that he is happy Eric is mentoring R.J., but he’s worried that Eric is setting himself up for a fall. Eric and Donna are surprised that Carter already knows about Eric designing his line. Carter lets Eric know he believes in him and the company, but is worried that this fashion challenge will be viewed as Eric competing with what Ridge is already creating, which could be risky. Eric takes a pass when Carter asks if he and Ridge could work together on one line. Donna and Carter are stunned to learn of the fashion challenge and that Eric wants the buyers to decide who wins. Hope and Thomas cannot control their passion for one another in the Forrester Design Office. Hope reminds Thomas of the boundaries, but Thomas is just ecstatic to have the woman he loves in his arms. Brooke walks in as their passion starts again, catching Hope and Thomas. She demands to know what the situation is between them. Hope assures her mom that she is an adult and knows what she is doing.
