Liam and Hope start an extensive conversation about Thomas. Liam is worried for Hope's safety and for their marriage. Hope explains how she feels Thomas has changed and that this arrangement will make Douglas happy. Steffy encourages Thomas, letting him know she is glad he gets a clean slate to start again. When Taylor enters and asks Thomas why he doesn’t look more comfortable, Thomas clarifies the current situation with Liam. Liam is adamant that Thomas is not anywhere near Hope and is confused about why she changed her mind. Douglas joins Thomas, Taylor, and Steffy and asks about Hope and Thomas working together. Douglas worries that whatever Hope is about to tell Liam will start a fight between them, something he does not want to happen. Thomas shows his change by asserting to Douglas that caring for the grown-ups is not his responsibility. Liam becomes irate at Hope for trusting Thomas yet again and recounts all the instances that he has hurt her, Douglas, and their family. Extended Director's Cut.
