Hope and Steffy get intense as they process the ramifications of Douglas's decisions. Hope begs Steffy to allow her to continue to be Douglas's mother, but Steffy remains adamant that she must do what is best for the child. Katie and Carter share a kiss and a loving, sexy exchange. Without knowing what is happening at the court, Finn and Li speak about how special Douglas is and how he loves spending time with Steffy, Finn, Kelly, and Hayes. The Judge returns and asks for a final decision. Steffy is in a difficult position when Douglas asks if he can come home and live with her and Uncle Finn. Steffy agrees to be Douglas's guardian, suggesting that he spend this last night with Hope and Liam. Upon returning home, Steffy blindsides Finn with the news of Douglas's decision.
